CHABA (Children affected by HIV/AIDS in Rwanda and Burundi, chabha.org ) has its office at St. Michael’s. We send parishioners to do mission work and support CHABA through donations. For more information, please contact Susanna Grannis at firstname.lastname@example.org.
El Salvador is home to Cristosal, a development program supported by numerous Episcopal and Anglican parishes. For several years St. Michael’s has contributed to the efforts of communities in El Salvador in local sustainable agriculture and human rights development, including community gardens, chicken and egg production, a bakery, a library/internet café in suburban San Salvador, and classes in legal rights and the processes required to be visible and engage government services. Many parishioners have traveled there and been transformed in the company of other brothers and sisters in Christ as they work toward a better future.
