Susan Dedell has been Director of Music at St. Michael’s church since 1992. She also directs the Brattleboro Concert Choir, an 85-voice chorus that is a program of the Brattleboro Music Center. Susan has also directed a variety of opera, oratorio, and music theater productions, as well as enjoying an active concert and recital schedule as a pianist. JaneSJane Sbardella, Parish Nurse

Jane grew up in South Dakota, where she started her nursing career as an operating room nurse in the civilian sector and later as an active-duty Air Force nurse in Mississippi and England. While on active duty she met her husband, a physician, and they have two children:  Matthew, a nurse practitioner, and Rebecca, a public-health nurse, as well as two beautiful grandchildren. They moved to Dummerston in 1988 and have been members of St. Michael’s since then. After moving here Jane became a school nurse and has since retired. For years she has been involved in our children’s ministry. In 2008, she attended the National Parish Health Ministry conference in Indiana and became our Parish Health Nurse. Jane also started our Intercessory Prayer Group. This group provides ongoing prayer throughout the month for persons and concerns on our parish’s prayer list. Email Jane.
